What Life is Like in Alma
From Dina: One of the places to start your high alpine pursuits is at the Alma Coffee House and Natural Foods Store. The owner, Drew, is a longtime friend and I stop every chance I get. There's even a new greenhouse and plant operation that is a treat during the warmer months. As a former flower shop owner and home gardener, I understand how short our growing season is, and that it pays to work a local specialist for plants.
This town really is an affordable option and the the residents and businesses are creating Alma into a unique mountain town. The homes are priced lower than Breckenridge, and it's only a 16 mile drive. But, once you realize the potential for this area, you might just find the home or property of your dreams.
