This report contains data from the different Colorado resort towns, including Telluride, Steamboat, and Aspen. Vail and Beaver Creek are usually grouped together while the towns of Summit County include Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Silverthorne. They are all situated around Dillon Reservoir, a collection of water fed by three inlets: the Blue River, the Snake River and Ten Mile Creek.
Land Title has compiled a 2nd quarter analysis of real estate in the mountain resort communities of Aspen (Pitkin County), Breckenridge (Summit County), Steamboat Springs (Routt County), Glenwood Springs (Garfield County), Winter Park (Grand County), and Vail (Eagle County) and Telluride (San Miguel County).
2017 Second Quarter Highlights from the Seven Counties:
• Buyer Profile: 49.64% Local, 23.24% Front Range, 26.60% Out-Of-State, 0.50% International.
• All counties saw an increase in the number of transactions compared to last year’s numbers. Pitkin had the biggest increase with 55.42%.
• Average residential price increased for all counties. Top county was San Miguel with a 39.88% increase over 2016 Q2 numbers.
• In gross volume sales, Pitkin county saw the biggest increase at 59.44%
